(1) Follow medical prescriptions and do not stop medication on your own Once diagnosed, TB patients should start regular treatment as soon as possible according to medical prescriptions and should not easily stop or switch medication during treatment. In case of dizziness, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, blurred vision and other uncomfortable symptoms, you should immediately go to a hospital or a tuberculosis prevention institution, where a doctor can determine whether these symptoms are caused by the toxic side effects of drugs and give appropriate treatment. (2) Regular review During treatment, sputum should be sent for regular review according to the doctor’s prescription. The doctor will decide whether the treatment is effective and whether the treatment needs to be adjusted based on the results of the sputum TB test. Regular review can also help the doctor determine whether the patient has other diseases or is drug-resistant tuberculosis, so that further tests can be conducted or treatment changes can be made in a timely manner.
