Tubal ultrasonography is usually around$500-600, but charges vary by hospital level. When tubal adhesion or blockage occurs, tubal ultrasonography is required in order to clarify the location and extent of tubal blockage. When doing the imaging, the contrast agent is usually injected into the uterine cavity through the cervix, and the contraction of the uterine muscles causes the contrast agent to flow into the fallopian tube, and if there is tubal adhesion or blockage, the contrast agent is usually blocked from passing through the fallopian tube, and will therefore be detected. Tubal imaging is usually done within 3-7 days after menstruation because the lining of the uterus and fallopian tubes are thinner during this period, which makes it less prone to more bleeding, infections, and other complications. However, medications to stop bleeding and infections need to be given routinely for 3-5 days after the procedure.
