Genital herpes can be rubbed with acyclovir cream and penciclovir cream, and its treatment includes the treatment of primary, recurrent, frequently recurring, severe infections, and herpes during pregnancy. 1. Primary genital herpes: (1) Systemic treatment: use famciclovir, vasiclovir, acyclovir, the course of treatment is 7 to 10 days until the rash subsides. (2) local treatment: topical 1% Penciclovir cream, 3% Acyclovir cream or phthalidomide cream. 2. Recurrent genital herpes: use famciclovir, valaciclovir, acyclovir before the appearance of prodromal symptoms or within 24 hours of the appearance of damage, the course of treatment is 5 days. Local treatment is the same as primary genital herpes. 3. Patients with frequent recurrence (more than 6 times per year): long-term drug treatment is needed, 4 months to 1 year, applying famciclovir, vasiclovir, acyclovir and so on. 4. Severe infection: extensive skin lesions or severe primary symptoms with serious complications. Intravenous acyclovir should be injected until the clinical manifestations disappear. 5. Genital herpes during pregnancy: primary genital herpes can be treated with oral acyclovir. Those with severe infections that may be life-threatening should be treated with intravenous acyclovir. For pregnant women with frequent recurrences or recent genital herpes infections, acyclovir treatment may be used near full term to minimize the appearance of active damage and thus reduce the cesarean section rate. Patients with genital herpes should not self-medicate, but should go to the hospital in time and under the guidance of the doctor.
