High sperm head deformity rate may be caused by sperm cell damage, varicocele, chromosomal abnormality, etc. It can be treated by medication, but in case of chromosomal abnormality, artificial insemination can only be carried out through the way of micro sperm extraction.
1. Sperm cell damage: Due to the infection of the reproductive glands by pathogens, the sperm cells are damaged, resulting in a high rate of sperm head deformities. It can be cleaned with external cleansing lotion and treated with oral roxithromycin capsule and levofloxacin capsule as prescribed by the doctor.
2. Varicose veins of the spermatic cord: the patient’s abdominal pressure increases due to the strong blood supply of the scrotal contents, leading to varicose veins of the spermatic cord, which increases the blood flow and leads to higher temperatures, affecting the spermatozoa and leading to a high rate of spermatozoa head deformities. It can be treated by taking medicines such as Mai Zhi Ling tablets, Diosmin tablets, Hepatis Saponin Sodium tablets, etc., and in serious cases, surgery is needed.
3. Chromosomal abnormality: chromosomal abnormality caused by exposure to radioactive substances affects the quality of spermatozoa, resulting in a high rate of spermatozoa head deformity, which cannot be treated and can only be achieved through microscopic sperm extraction, elimination of deformed spermatozoa and then artificial insemination.
Patients with high sperm head malformation rate may also be caused by other factors, requiring different treatment methods. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals for timely treatment, quit smoking and drinking, and do moderate exercise on weekdays.
