Polyethylene glycol electrolyte bulk is a kind of laxative, mainly used for preoperative bowel cleansing preparation, bowel cleansing preparation for colonoscopy or barium enema and other examinations, treatment of functional constipation.

It is prohibited in patients with allergy to this product; in patients with gastrointestinal obstruction, intestinal perforation, gastrointestinal bleeding, toxic enteritis, toxic megacolon, Crohn’s disease, etc.; in patients with coronary artery disease, old myocardial infarction, renal failure, intestinal stenosis or constipation, etc.; and it is used with caution in patients with intestinal diverticulum with report of intestinal perforation, and patients of advanced age.
