Thrombocytopenia belongs to a complication of hemoperfusion, which can be caused by two situations: firstly, during the adsorption process of some patients, the blood coagulates to form thrombus, which can consume a large number of platelets, thus leading to thrombocytopenia; secondly, some patients have an allergic reaction to the hemoperfusion device, which leads to the destruction of platelets and a drastic decrease in the number of platelets. Therefore, doctors need to take this into account before blood perfusion, and blood routine needs to be repeatedly rechecked when performing blood perfusion to observe whether platelets change.
