Deeper gliomas should still be removed by surgery, and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be considered.
Surgical resection is the first choice for the treatment of glioma regardless of its location. For deep gliomas located in non-functional areas, total resection of the brain tumor should be considered; for deep gliomas located in functional areas, the gliomas should be removed as much as possible under the premise of preserving the neurological function of the patients.
For deeper gliomas that cannot be completely resected intraoperatively, further radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be given according to the postoperative pathological findings of the patient.
After the discovery of deep intracranial glioma, it is recommended that the patient should consult a doctor in time, and should actively carry out the corresponding treatment under the doctor’s guidance according to his specific situation.
