Hysteroscopy is mainly used to examine gynecological bleeding disorders and intrauterine lesions. When a woman has abnormal vaginal bleeding that cannot be clearly diagnosed through routine gynecological examinations, hysteroscopy needs to be performed on the patient in order to confirm the cause of the abnormal bleeding and give timely and symptomatic treatment. If a woman has lesions in the uterus, such as endometritis, submucosal fibroids, endometrial polyps, endometrial cancer, etc., hysteroscopy can diagnose both the site of endometrial lesions and the site of cancer, and if necessary, hysteroscopic surgery can be performed directly to remove the lesions. Hysteroscopy can also be used for the treatment of bleeding caused by uterine dysfunction, submucosal fibroids, endometrial polyps, and diseases such as intrauterine device placement, residual after abortion surgery, and incomplete drug abortion, which can act directly on the lesion site and reduce bleeding during surgery.
