For patients with nausea, vomiting and other symptoms, and the vomit contains bile, or what patients call yellow water, and there is a bitter taste, this situation is mostly considered that the patient has bile reflux, or the patient has pancreatitis and acute gastroenteritis attack caused by nausea, vomiting. Patients should look at the situation and degree of abdominal pain. If the abdominal pain is severe and the patient’s symptoms cannot be relieved after vomiting, this situation should be actively considered to draw blood for blood and urine amylase to see if the patient’s blood amylase is elevated. If the amylase is elevated and the patient is found to have an enlarged pancreas or exudate around the pancreas in combination with ultrasound, it is more likely that the patient will be diagnosed with simple pancreatitis. It is recommended that the patient should be actively hospitalized, fasted with water, and rehydrated with intravenous fluids and electrolytes. After about 5-7 days of active treatment, the patient’s pancreatitis can be improved or cured. For patients, if nausea, vomiting and bile reflux are caused by gastroenteritis, patients need to rest actively and replenish the amount of fluids, consider taking oral electrolyte supplements to replenish electrolytes. In addition, appropriate antidiarrheal or antiemetic medication should be taken for treatment.
