How endometrial cancer is diagnosed

The etiology of endometrial cancer is still unclear. Outpatients with abnormal vaginal bleeding and vaginal discharge as symptoms are common. For postmenopausal abnormal bleeding or perimenopausal abnormal bleeding, the methods to confirm the diagnosis are as follows: 1) history taking; 2) gynecological examination: to understand the size and position of the uterus and the presence of pressure pain through gynecological examination; 3) ultrasound imaging: such as gynecological ultrasound; 4) CT or MR examination: for those with high suspicion of endometrial lesions; 5) histopathological examination: the gold standard for confirming the diagnosis, to obtain pathological biopsy through segmental scraping to clarify histopathological type.
