Stage II endometrial cancer may be cured by total hysterectomy.
Endometrial cancer is a group of epithelial malignant tumors, while stage II endometrial cancer indicates that the tumor invades the interstitium of the cervix without spreading outside the uterus. Some patients with stage II endometrial cancer are evaluated by doctors and treated with total hysterectomy, which is usually curable, but there is a risk of recurrence of the disease. Some patients are not cured by total hysterectomy and require other postoperative treatments.
Clinical treatment for stage II endometrial cancer includes modified wide hysterectomy, bilateral adnexectomy and pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissection due to the invasion of cervical mesenchyme, and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy according to the condition of the patient.
It is suggested that people with stage II endometrial cancer should adjust their mentality and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment, and they should also consult doctors regularly for review, so as to adjust the treatment plan according to the change of condition in time.
