A white adherent armpit hair should be considered as tinea cruris. It can be white, yellow, or red in color, but white is the most common color. The secretions stick to the armpit hair and are usually difficult to wash off with water. If you want to treat it thoroughly, it is best to shave the axillary hair and wash it locally with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, then apply topical mercury ointment or 5% sulfur cream. Reduce exercise, do not eat a spicy diet, reduce sweating, and keep the area dry to help the armpit hair ringworm heal as soon as possible.
