It is impossible to generalize how long patients with stage IIIA lung adenocarcinoma can live, the 5-year survival rate of stage II patients can reach 55%, the 5-year survival rate of stage III patients is around 20%, and stage IIIA belongs to the early stage of stage III, and the 5-year survival rate is relatively higher. In addition, affected by many factors, the survival time varies greatly, which may be 3~5 years, or shorter or longer.
Stage IIIA lung adenocarcinoma belongs to middle and late stage lung cancer, which is relatively more serious, and if it is not treated in time, it will have a greater impact on the patient. If the disease progresses faster and the patient’s own physique and mentality are worse, the survival time will be significantly shortened.
If patients with stage IIIA lung adenocarcinoma actively cooperate with doctors for treatment, combined with surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other measures, they can control the disease better. And the patient’s physique, mentality and treatment effect are better, he/she may survive for 3~5 years or even longer after surgery. Whereas, if the patient’s own physical condition is poor, poor mentality and tumor resistance, it may affect the patient’s prognosis and shorten the life expectancy.
