The marks left by chickenpox can usually fade away naturally. Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by varicella-zoster virus, which is prevalent in children, and can be accompanied by spots, papules, herpes and scabs, as well as fever and malaise. If there is no secondary infection, usually after active treatment, the chickenpox lesions may appear hyperpigmentation or hypopigmented spots after the lesions subside, which will subside naturally after a period of time; if there is secondary infection, depressed scar may be formed, which will be difficult to subside on its own and affect the appearance. Chickenpox is highly contagious and should be isolated and avoid scratching the affected area. Chickenpox patients should be under the guidance of a doctor for standardized treatment.
