What to do if you have a lump at the base of your thigh

A lump found at the root of the thigh may be a hernia mass, or it may be an enlarged lymph node in the inguinal region, a lipoma or other mass. You need to go to the hospital promptly to see a doctor for an interview and combine it with a physical examination before you can make a preliminary judgment. If the mass is considered to be a lymph node enlargement or lipoma, a local ultrasound examination can be performed to determine the condition. If it is a hernia, the mass may disappear, but it is likely to recur. If the mass is caused by local lymph node inflammation, anti-inflammatory drugs, such as cephalosporins, can be chosen for treatment. If the mass is a lipoma, it can be surgically removed if it is larger. If it is smaller and has no obvious symptoms, it can also be followed up and observed. If it is a hernia, surgery can be considered if it bulges out frequently, or if it bulges out occasionally, it can be followed up and observed.
