Autism needs to be judged in the context of its symptoms: 1. Communication impairment: including verbal communication, eye communication, and physical communication; 2. Stereotypic behavior: manifested by repetitive behavior and strong memory; 3. Having some of the gifts and talents: such as in music and painting. Parents can make early judgments by observing the child’s communication with others, and if autism is suspected, early intervention is warranted. The golden stage of early intervention for autism is before the child is three years old, and missing this stage may delay the condition.
