Minimally invasive hernia surgery may also be referred to as laparoscopic hernia surgery. The process of laparoscopic hernia surgery includes three processes such as preoperative anesthesia, establishing pneumoperitoneum and performing surgery. 1. Preoperative anesthesia: Under normal circumstances, laparoscopic surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Upon entering the operating room, the anesthesiologist will administer general anesthesia by tracheal intubation, and then carry out the routine preoperative processes such as disinfection, toweling, and cardiac monitoring. 2. Establish the pneumoperitoneum: After routine sterilization of the operating area, a pneumoperitoneum needle will be inserted under the umbilicus, pneumoperitoneum pressure will be set, the pneumoperitoneum will be established, and the laparoscopic equipment will be connected. 3. Perform surgery: find the inguinal area by hand under laparoscopy, separate the hernia ring, ligate the hernia ring opening, suture the hernia opening or implant the mesh to repair the hernia opening, take out the laparoscopic instrument, close the pneumoperitoneum, suture the abdominal incision, and bandage it with aseptic dressing. After minimally invasive hernia surgery, you should try to eat as much light and easily digestible food as possible. You should also avoid postoperative elevated abdominal pressure and try to avoid strenuous exercise for 3 months.
