Stroke hemiplegia, also known as hemiplegia, is characterized by paralysis of both lower limbs on the same side. Early rehabilitation is beneficial to the patient’s recovery, and common rehabilitation methods include: exercise therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and swallowing therapy, and so on. 1. Exercise therapy: Rehabilitation therapists can do passive training for the affected limbs, such as muscle strength training, joint mobility training, turning over training, gait training and so on. 2. Physiotherapy: Generally, professional rehabilitation departments have non-pharmacological treatments such as intermediate frequency pulse therapy, magnetic therapy and pneumatic pressure therapy to awaken muscle recovery and improve body functions. 3. Occupational therapy: Selective and purposeful training of patients’ life functions such as eating, dressing, washing, writing, etc. will help to improve patients’ daily life ability. 4. Speech and swallowing therapy: Generally speaking, patients who suffer from hemiplegia after stroke will not only be affected by physical function, but also have speech or eating disorders, which requires professional speech and swallowing function training to help patients recover. If the patient suffers from hemiplegia after stroke, he/she needs to carry out rehabilitation training as soon as possible under the guidance of the rehabilitation therapist after his/her condition is stabilized, in order to help him/her recover as soon as possible, improve his/her quality of life, and return to the society and his/her family as soon as possible.
