CRP is known as C-reactive protein, and levels above 55mg/L are high, suggesting possible trauma, acute infections, and other conditions.
C-reactive egg is mainly synthesized by the liver, widely distributed in the body, and has a role in activating and promoting the immune system. Normal human C-reactive protein level should be 0.068~8.2mg/L.
CRP level of 55mg/L is already several times higher than the normal value, suggesting that there may be bacterial-induced septic infectious diseases such as appendicitis, etc., tissue necrosis such as myocardial infarction, severe trauma or burns, malignant tumors, connective tissue diseases such as rheumatic fever, and so on. In addition, if you have recently undergone major surgery or are pregnant, C-reactive protein may also be elevated to varying degrees.
If C-reactive protein is elevated, it is recommended to go to the hospital promptly.
