The functions of Wuji San are dispersing cold and dampness (eliminating cold and dampness), regulating Qi and activating blood, resolving phlegm and eliminating stagnation (dissolving phlegm and eliminating stagnation). It is often used in the treatment of heart and abdominal plumpness (stomach distension and discomfort) and distension caused by external wind-cold, internal cold injury, dizziness and pain in the head and eyes, shoulder and back constriction and discomfort, tiredness and fatigue, dietary disorders, nausea and vomiting; it can also be used for women’s qi and blood disorders, irregular menstruation, or amenorrhea and so on. The adverse reactions and contraindications of the five accumulations are not clear, patients with symptoms, need to go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to use medication, do not blindly use drugs to avoid adverse reactions.
