Can you eat during an ultrasound?

You can eat when you have an ultrasound, and eating doesn’t have much of an effect. Generally speaking, there are two types of ultrasound: one is the more traditional ultrasound that requires holding urine; the other is the ultrasound done vaginally. The more traditional ultrasound that requires holding urine is more suitable for early pregnancy to see whether there is a gestational sac or whether there is a heartbeat, whether there are fetal buds, and for abortion that is not willing to go through the vagina for ultrasound. A transvaginal ultrasound is suitable for people who do not have vaginal bleeding and who have more difficulty holding their urine. Both ultrasounds have their pros and cons. A transvaginal ultrasound is more or less uncomfortable for some people, but many people don’t feel anything. This is especially true in early pregnancy and to see ovarian tumors, ovarian teratomas, or ectopic pregnancies more clearly. Ultrasound with urine holding, because early pregnancy is worried that transvaginal ultrasound is not good for the child, so will choose to do ultrasound with urine holding, but eating is not affected.
