Heartburn is not necessarily a heart attack. Panic is one of the most common symptoms in cardiology patients.
However, a significant number of people with panic as their first complaint do not find evidence of organic heart disease after detailed examination, but some patients with organic heart disease do have panic as their first complaint, so there is some correlation between the two. The only way to accurately distinguish between the two is to go to the hospital for further examination to clarify the cause.
