Mediastinal lymphadenitis will present with enlarged lymph nodes, and the enlarged lymph nodes can compress the esophagus, trachea and superior vena cava to present a series of symptoms, such as dysphagia, dyspnea, superior vena cava compression syndrome and so on.
1. Dysphagia: mainly due to mediastinal lymph node enlargement compressing the esophagus, the symptoms of vomiting and dysphagia may appear.
2. Dyspnea: mainly due to the compression of the trachea by enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, manifested as cough, shortness of breath, dyspnea and other symptoms.
3. Superior vena cava compression syndrome: it is caused by the compression of superior vena cava by enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes, and may present with symptoms such as facial edema, jugular varicose veins, headache and head swelling.
Patients with mediastinal lymphadenitis who have these symptoms need to go to the hospital in time for examination and actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
