How to treat cervical cysts

Cervical cysts are a common problem in obstetrics and gynecology, and most women are found to have cervical cysts during routine physical examinations, so the treatment of cervical cysts has become a concern for the majority of women. At present, it is clinically believed that ordinary cervical cysts do not require treatment. The cervical epithelial tissue in normal women is divided into a compound squamous epithelium and a single columnar epithelium, and the two epithelial tissues can transform into each other under the stimulation of different factors. In the process of transformation of squamous epithelium to columnar epithelium, squamous epithelium can block the opening of cervical glands and cause cervical cysts. Therefore, according to the above-mentioned causes of cervical cyst formation, cervical cysts are normal physiological phenomena and do not require special treatment. However, it is worth noting that if the cervical cysts are large in size, then surgical treatment is necessary. If the larger cervical cysts are not removed, they can cause sexual discomfort and blockage of the cervical opening. Therefore, when cervical cysts are large in size, surgical removal is the treatment of choice. Cervical cysts are very common in clinical practice and most of them do not require treatment. However, it is recommended to perform regular gynecological examinations to observe the changes of cervical cysts and to operate if necessary.
