Recipe for cough

Cough can be treated with Sang Ju Drink, Sang Xing Tang, Sha Shen Maidong Tang and other formulas.
Sangju Drink: composed of Platycodonopsis, Mulberry Leaf, Chrysanthemum, Forsythia and other medicines, it has the effect of dispersing wind, clearing heat and relieving cough, and can be used for treating coughs caused by wind-warmth at the beginning of the cough. Patients with wind-cold cough should not use this medicine.
Mulberry and Apricot Soup: composed of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Mulberry Leaves, Almonds, Pear Peel, etc. It has the efficacy of moistening the lungs and warming the dryness, and can be used for the treatment of coughs caused by external warmth and dryness. Contraindications are not clear.
Sha Shen Mai Dong Tang: composed of Sha Shen, Mai Dong, lentil and other drugs, with the effect of nourishing Yin and moistening the lung, can be used to treat dry cough caused by insufficient Yin and fluid in the lung and stomach. Patients with deficiency and coldness in the spleen and stomach are forbidden to use this medicine.
The adverse effects of the above formula are not clear, and there are many causes of cough, so patients who need to use the medicine should do so under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying their condition.
