What does pulmonary fibrous sclerosis mean?

Pulmonary fibrous sclerosis, a manifestation of healed tuberculosis. Pulmonary fibrous nodules are scarring in the lungs after aggressive treatment of tuberculosis. In early stages of tuberculosis, exudative, hyperplastic and caseous necrosis pathology can occur. In the case of hyperplastic and caseous necrotic lesions, scarring, i.e. fibrosis and calcification of the lung tissue, may remain in the lungs after resorption. When the thoracic lesions and tuberculosis lesions are completely absorbed, they can appear as striated, high-density calcified shadows, which can persist in the lungs for a long time without causing pathological changes, which are pulmonary fibrous sclerotic foci.
