Femoral head necrosis does not cause paralysis. Paralysis refers to the weakness or inability to make active random movements, which is mainly caused by neurological dysfunction. On the other hand, ischemic necrosis of the femoral head refers to a disease in which the blood supply to the femoral head is damaged or interrupted, leading to the death of bone marrow components and bone cells and subsequent tissue repair, which in turn leads to the structural change and collapse of the femoral head, causing pain and dysfunction of the patient’s hip joint. Since there is no direct relationship between necrosis of the femoral head and paralysis, it will not cause neurological dysfunction although the walking function decreases and intermittent claudication occurs in the later stage. So femoral head necrosis will not cause paralysis. It is recommended that patients with necrosis of the femoral head go to the hospital for treatment in time and under the guidance of the doctor, so as not to delay the condition.
