There are three degrees of ascites, mainly based on the belly button and mobile turbid sounds as criteria. The appearance of ascites is induced when too much free fluid is collected in the body. The common causes of ascites are impaired liver function and malignant tumors. When the phenomenon of ascites occurs, the first thing to do is to grade the ascites, different grades are different in treatment methods, and the ascites grade can be standardized by the navel, below the navel position indicating that the length of the patient belongs to the first degree, and the level with the navel belongs to the second degree. Once there is a phenomenon above the navel, it belongs to the third degree of ascites. In addition, the degree of ascites can also be graded according to the location of the mobile turbid sounds that occur when ascites occurs. When the mobile turbid sound is below the mid-axillary line, the patient is in the first degree, above the mid-axillary line but below the mid-clavicular line is in the second degree, and above the mid-clavicular line is in the third degree.
