Can teeth be restored?

Teeth can be restored, and when a cavity is created or fracture occurs in the crown, the anatomical form can be restored by applying a lathe needle to prepare the cavity and then filling it with a composite resin, glass ionomer cementite, etc. If a large area of the crown is missing or the filling material is repeatedly dislodged, the tooth can be prepared and an inlay or a full crown can be fabricated for restoration. After extraction of teeth with residual roots and crowns that are obviously loose or repeatedly infected, they can be restored in the form of removable denture, fixed denture, or implant denture, respectively. Implant denture is the preferred restoration as it can effectively preserve the bone volume, slow down the resorption of alveolar bone and avoid wearing down the natural tooth tissues. When all teeth are missing, total denture can be made.
