How best to treat atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis can be improved by general treatment, medication and physical therapy, but there is no how to treat the best way due to individual differences.
1. General treatment: For patients with atopic dermatitis, they should choose to wear cotton, loose clothing to reduce friction, while avoiding scratching with their hands. When bathing, you should control the water temperature, avoiding too hot water, and use emollients after bathing to restore the skin barrier function.
2. Medication: Patients can use glucocorticosteroids such as hydrocortisone butyrate, or calcium-modulated phosphatase inhibitors such as tacrolimus to apply topically to the lesions. If there is localized itching, oral antihistamines such as cetirizine can be taken. If necessary, immunosuppressants such as methotrexate or biologics such as duplizumab, and small molecule drugs such as upatinib may be given.
3. Physical therapy: patients can also choose ultraviolet irradiation treatment, generally take narrow-wave UVB irradiation, with the regulation of local immunity and other effects.
If you have atopic dermatitis, you need to cooperate with your doctor to standardize the treatment.
