How many days does it take for rhabdomyolysis to heal on its own?

Mild cases of rhabdomyolysis may generally heal on their own in 1 to 2 weeks, while severe cases require prompt treatment and recovery may take 3 to 4 weeks or even longer. Mild cases of rhabdomyolysis can present with muscle pain, weakness, swelling, and fever, and most of these cases can heal on their own in 1~2 weeks. In more serious cases of rhabdomyolysis, it is usually accompanied by kidney damage, tea-colored urine, impaired kidney function, oliguria, anuria and renal failure, which cannot be cured on its own, and requires systematic treatment in the hospital, and hemodialysis if necessary. The treatment time is also relatively long, at least 3~4 weeks, need to wait for the complete recovery of renal function before stopping the treatment. Therefore, if the symptoms of rhabdomyolysis are obvious, you must pay attention to it and get timely treatment.
