MORTIMACAULATE DISPERSIBLE TABLETS are immunosuppressive agents used for the treatment of the prevention of organ rejection in patients undergoing allogeneic kidney or liver transplants.This drug should be used concurrently with cyclosporine A or tacrolimus and corticosteroids. Major adverse reactions to moratimecoxib dispersible tablets when combined with cyclosporine and corticosteroids include diarrhea, leukopenia, sepsis, vomiting, and an increase in the occurrence of certain types of infections, such as opportunistic infections. In addition, this drug is contraindicated in patients who have hypersensitivity to merti-macrolide, mescaline, or other components of the drug, and the intravenous formulation of this drug is contraindicated in patients who have hypersensitivity to polysorbate 80; this drug may be mutagenic and teratogenic, and is therefore contraindicated in pregnant women, women of childbearing potential who are not using highly effective methods of contraception, and lactating mothers; the use of the drug in children is not known.
