If the leucorrhoea is only yellowish-green with no other accompanying symptoms, it is most often associated with an unintentional infection, which can be self-healing if the patient has no underlying disease and is physically resistant through vaginal self-cleaning. If the leucorrhoea is accompanied by other discomfort, such as vaginal itching and painful intercourse, the infection is considered more serious and should be examined and treated by a doctor as soon as possible to avoid spreading the infection.
