There are several common fractures: skull fractures, zygomatic fractures, and mandibular fractures in the head. The spine has vertebral burst fractures, vertebral compression fractures, transverse process fractures, and sphenoid fractures. The back has scaphoid fractures. The thorax has rib fractures. Around the hip joint there are pelvic fractures and acetabular fractures. In the extremities, for example, there are humerus fractures and ulnar radius fractures in the upper extremities, and in the lower extremities, there are mainly femoral stem fractures, tibia fractures, and tibial plateau fractures, heel fractures, and toe and phalanx fractures.
