We are all familiar with rhinoplasty, and every time we come to the office for an interview we ask some of the same questions, so what should we focus on in rhinoplasty? How should we communicate with the doctor during the consultation? First of all: the ratio of the nose to the face; rhinoplasty must ensure that the nose is in harmony with the face. For example, a long face with a slightly upward-facing nostril nose can make the face appear shorter, and if you correct a sunken nose it will break the facial balance. Everyone’s facial bones are different, and the standard beauty of celebrities is nice, but a personalized plan that suits you is important. Don’t just go for someone’s nose style, think carefully about whether the nose looks good on your face with your eyes, ears, cheekbones and chin. Will the prosthesis be exposed after rhinoplasty? In the early years of rhinoplasty, the implant was inserted into the tip of the nose, and it was inevitable that the implant would leak out. Nowadays, however, the tip of the nose has been corrected with cartilage and other autologous tissues, so as long as the magnitude of the implant is reasonably controlled, the phenomenon of implant leakage can be eliminated at all. This can be assured in my case, and has not occurred in thousands of rhinoplasty cases so far. Will the nose collapse easily after rhinoplasty? Rhinoplasty does not make the nose fragile, although it is a different story if it is subjected to a strong impact, after all, even the original bridge of the nose can be broken at times. However, one thing is very certain: a nose after rhinoplasty will never trigger a “collapse” due to a deterioration in durability. But there is no guarantee for the prosthesis implanted by an irregular doctor. Therefore choosing a doctor is of utmost importance. Are rhinoplasty injections effective? Rhinoplasty injections are particularly effective in repairing specific areas, such as minor nose tip and root enhancement, although they are generally not suitable for larger procedures such as drastic rhinoplasty. Hyaluronic acid, collagen, and autologous fat are all fine; plus most injectables break down periodically, so there are ongoing refills to maintain results. Results will vary from person to person, depending on what kind of requirements you have. Are there any side effects of fillers for rhinoplasty? If by side effects you mean toxicity and the like, then no. However, since fillers are foreign substances, sometimes it is inevitable to cause some inflammation, which can be avoided by strictly controlling the sterilization environment during the surgery and following the doctor’s instructions to sterilize or take medication after the surgery. In some of my sterilization equipment and non-sterile environment to do the surgery can not be guaranteed. The quality of the prosthesis used at present is very high, and the probability of serious rejection is extremely low.
