How to treat eosinophilic dermatitis

The first line of treatment for eosinophilic dermatitis is glucocorticoids, starting at a dose of prednisone of 1mg/kg per day, with a gradual reduction in maintenance after the disease is under control, or other glucocorticosteroids such as methylprednisolone or betamethasone in equal doses. During treatment, it is important to observe the adverse effects of hormones and monitor blood glucose, blood pressure, electrolytes and other conditions. Other drugs such as antihistamines and H2 receptor antagonists can be used as adjunctive therapy. First-generation H1 receptor antagonists with sedative effects can all relieve itching, such as doxepin and ketotifen. Cimetidine, cetirizine, trinitrotoluene, sodium cromoglycate, etc., with anti-eosinophilic activity, can be used. Topical medications are mainly topical hormones, such as halometasone ointment and eloxon ointment.
