Tinnitus leads to suicide attempt

Patient 1: Male, 25 years old, a postgraduate student of a famous university, has been visiting all major hospitals for tinnitus, and the results of various tests have been negative, and the patient does not agree with the treatment of each hospital and doctor. All the treatments were ineffective, but the patient’s tinnitus caused the patient to be unable to sleep at night, unable to study at day, and unable to live a normal life. The lack of help, or hopelessness, led the patient to commit suicide, which was found by the family in time to save an early fall of life. Inadvertently, he came across my information on the Internet and sought help. Since then received an antidepressant medication and psychological treatment, although the tinnitus still exists. However, the sound and frequency of tinnitus are decreasing. The patient was able to live and study normally and went on to a normal life. Patient 2: Male, 45 years old, a worker engaged in field survey, had a cranial CT and various otologic examinations due to tinnitus, all of which were negative, and the treatment for 2 months was ineffective. The patient thought he was suffering from an incurable disease, lost hope for life, and became irritable and anxious. Once when no one was at home and felt really helpless, she turned on the gas and wanted to leave her life without pain. She was found by her family in time and sent to the hospital for rescue, and was successfully rescued and transferred to our hospital for treatment. He was diagnosed as depression caused by tinnitus and is currently undergoing physical therapy, medication and psychotherapy. At present, the patient is recovering well, but tinnitus still exists and the patient is living happily. The world cause of neurological tinnitus is unclear and there is no good treatment. Once tinnitus arises, it is important to raise awareness to the patient so that the patient can adapt to the impact of tinnitus on his life in time, learn to live with tinnitus, and deal with bad negative emotions such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, restlessness and other adverse reactions of the body in time. Avoid the occurrence of malignant events. I wish you all good physical and mental health.
