Do gum abscesses go away on their own?

Gum abscesses do not go away on their own. Gum abscesses are usually inflammatory problems caused by poor oral cleaning and the formation of calculus resulting in gingivitis or pericoronitis of wisdom teeth, periapical abscesses, etc. If one’s immunity is strong, the gum abscess may appear to be temporarily eliminated, but in fact the chronic inflammation will always exist and will not heal on its own, and will recur if not treated, so one needs to find a dentist to clarify the cause and treat it. If the tooth is painful, comfortable after clenching or if there is already a painful bite, it means that it has affected the inner part of the tooth and needs root canal treatment to cure it completely. When gum abscesses appear, it is recommended to go to the dentist for dental film imaging. Normally, you should not eat spicy and stimulating food, and at the same time, you should clean your teeth regularly, at least brush your teeth in the morning and evening, and rinse your mouth with light salt water frequently, etc.
