What causes heavy eyelids and fatigue

The common causes of heavy eyelids and fatigue are eyestrain, Horner’s syndrome and myasthenia gravis.
1. Eyestrain: If excessive use of electronic products leads to eyestrain, the upper eyelid muscle spasms, heavy eyelids and fatigue can occur.
2. Horner’s syndrome: Horner’s syndrome is caused by oculo-sympathetic paralysis, which is classically characterized by drooping eyelids, narrowing of the pupil on the affected side, and less sweating on the affected side.
3. Myasthenia gravis: Because the neuromuscular junction distributed in the upper eyelid is impaired, resulting in weak contraction of the upper eyelid muscles, unilateral or bilateral paralysis of the extraocular muscles, so there will be eyelid heaviness, fatigue, ptosis and other symptoms.
There are many other reasons for heavy eyelids and weakness, so you should go to the regular hospital to find out the cause of the disease and actively cooperate with the professional doctor’s treatment.
