The latest U.S. oncology data has been released, and the top incidence rate for men is prostate cancer, for women is breast cancer, and the top mortality rate is lung cancer. A comprehensive analysis of the incidence data from 2007-2009 shows that men have a 50% lifetime chance of developing a malignant tumor, in other words, one out of two people will develop a malignant tumor, while women have a slightly lower rate of 33%. Although it is not too much to apply all the curses to malignant tumors, and although human beings have exhausted their human and financial resources to find a cure for malignant tumors, it has effortlessly jumped to be the number one killer of human health. There is no choice but to ask, to paraphrase a popular saying of the sketch actor Cai Ming, “Why?” The answer is also amazing: it is the root cause of the rising incidence of tumors caused by human beings themselves breaking the harmony with nature. Inappropriate tumor thinking is also the reason for poor tumor treatment. On the one hand, the inappropriate lifestyle that leads to the increase of tumor incidence is prevalent, and on the other hand, the ineffectiveness of tumor treatment, both of which interact with each other and eventually lead to the increasing tumor incidence like the present-day prices. From the incidence figures of the United States, the overall tumor incidence rate reached its peak around 1991 and has been decreasing since then, which is mainly attributed to the protection of the environment, the achievements of public health such as tobacco control, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, the early detection of precancerous lesions and interventions such as the application of tumor vaccines, and the limited contribution of oncology drugs to the overall decrease of mortality. On the contrary, the incidence of various malignant tumors in China is still in the rising trend and the mortality rate is also increasing. From the author’s experience, the serious environmental problems, the prevalence of western bad lifestyle, the serious public health problems (various food and drug problems, tobacco epidemic), and the lack of effective therapeutic drugs are all problems that continue to be solved. From the above analysis, you can vaguely see that to reduce the overall incidence of malignant tumors, each of us needs to start from our present life. To improve the natural environment, you need to consciously adopt a low-carbon and green lifestyle. Starting from today, you should consciously return to early to bed, early to rise, active exercise, green and healthy diet, and consciously resist the relentless attack of tobacco, alcohol and various western junk foods. From today onwards, advocate the love of life, optimistic and happy attitude, and say goodbye to negative emotions. I firmly believe that if each of us can consciously protect the environment, have a healthy lifestyle and have strong enough positive energy, malignant tumors will eventually fade away.
