Ginseng Ling and Atractylodes Macrocephalae San is composed of ginseng, poria, atractylodes macrocephala (fried), Chinese yam, white lentil (fried) and lotus seed. It has the effect of tonifying the spleen and stomach and benefiting the lung and qi. It is used in treating loose stools caused by weakness of the spleen and stomach, shortness of breath and cough, tiredness and fatigue.
Gui Fu Di Huang Wan (桂附地黄丸) is composed of Cinnamon, Radix Polygoni Multiflori (附子), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (熟地黄), Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum (山茱萸), and Mudan Pi (牡丹皮). It has the effect of warming and tonifying kidney yang (warming and replenishing kidney yang). It is used in treating impotence and coldness of the waist and knees caused by deficiency of kidney yang, dysuria (unsmooth urination) or regurgitation, phlegm (pathological product formed by impaired metabolism of water and fluid) and wheezing and coughing. Not recommended for pregnant women.
