Formaldehyde poisoning may also cause fever. If the formaldehyde content in the normal living environment exceeds the standard, formaldehyde poisoning may cause symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing, headache, watery eyes, burning sensation in the throat, edema in the throat and eye discomfort, chest tightness, bronchospasm and even pneumonia, and may be accompanied by fever.
