How often does bladder cancer hematuria

Hematuria in early bladder cancer may occur once every 3-5 days, and in middle and late stage patients it may occur every day, but the time is often uncertain. Hematuria is one of the most common symptoms of urinary system diseases, 98% of hematuria is caused by urinary urological system diseases, and 2% of hematuria is caused by systemic diseases or lesions of adjacent organs of urinary system. Hematuria symptoms of bladder cancer patients are related to tumor tissue invading mucosal blood vessels, tumor tissue necrosis and bleeding, etc. Patients with mild hematuria can usually clot in time, so there are “occasional/intermittent hematuria symptoms”. For early stage bladder cancer patients, hematuria symptoms are usually mild, which can be only microscopic hematuria or microscopic hematuria, and the time interval is often indeterminate, which can be 3-5 days with hematuria symptoms. For patients with advanced stage, persistent hematuria usually occurs, and blood clots may be formed in the bladder causing obstruction of urine drainage, resulting in difficulty in urination, intermittent urination, urinary retention and other symptoms. If there is any abnormality, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital to evaluate the condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to avoid delaying the condition.
