Follicular thyroid cancer is a pathological type of thyroid cancer, differentiated thyroid cancer, which is a malignant tumor with unlimited proliferation, local infiltration and distant metastatic potential. Thyroid cancer is a malignant tumor, which is classified into different pathological types according to differentiation differences and tumor origins, i.e., papillary thyroid carcinoma, follicular thyroid carcinoma, medullary thyroid carcinoma, and undifferentiated thyroid carcinoma, the first two of which are collectively referred to as differentiated thyroid carcinomas, which have the potential for unlimited proliferation, local infiltration, and distant metastasis regardless of which one they are. Follicular thyroid carcinoma and papillary thyroid carcinoma are common thyroid cancers, which can have neck lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, but the overall prognosis is better than medullary thyroid carcinoma and undifferentiated thyroid carcinoma, so it is recommended that the relevant patients should actively seek medical treatment and standardize the treatment under the guidance of doctors.
