Colon occupancy is a disease of the intestine. Occupancy refers to the growth of abnormal hyperplastic tissue in the intestine, which may be both benign and malignant lesions. It is necessary to go to the hospital to improve the relevant examination, and to remove part of the hyperplastic tissue under colonoscopy and send it for pathological biopsy. If the lesion is benign and the tissue is relatively small, it can be removed under colonoscopy and followed up regularly, but if the tissue is large, a partial resection of the colon is needed and then an intestinal anastomosis is performed. If malignant tumor is considered, radical resection of the tumor and lymph node dissection are required. Later on, depending on the pathological results, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, Chinese herbal medicine including radiotherapy may need to be given. During the treatment period, patients should not drink drinks containing alcohol and should not eat too spicy food. Other precautions need to be consulted with the attending physician.
