Closed mouth refers to whitehead acne, some of which will go away on its own, and some of which will worsen.
Whiteheads are mild acne, usually with a mild inflammatory response, and some can disappear or decrease on their own after lifestyle adjustments, such as dietary adjustments, proper exercise, and timely cleansing of the skin.
If left untreated or without proper daily care, acne may also worsen and develop into inflammatory or purulent papules, cysts and nodules, and some patients may develop hyperpigmentation or even atrophic scarring, which may seriously affect their image.
Due to individual differences, it is uncertain whether whitehead acne will disappear on its own, and it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for proper treatment under the doctor’s guidance.
