How should macrosomia be treated?

Conservative treatment: maintain a light weight, reduce exercise and weight bearing, and take oral anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication. Before surgical treatment, a bilateral ankle MRI should be performed to find out whether the joint with the most severe lesion is the tibial talar joint or the heel talar joint. If the heel talus joint is the main joint, then direct joint fusion can be performed; if the tibial talus joint is the main joint, then ankle joint replacement surgery can be considered; if both upper and lower talus joints are severely damaged, then the treatment is more difficult.
