Bleeding usually occurs again after a curettage, but the amount of bleeding and the duration of the bleeding varies.
Generally, there will be some trauma on the surface of the uterus after the diagnostic scraping, and a small amount of bleeding after the diagnostic scraping is a very common phenomenon.
The reason why some female patients undergo diagnostic scraping is because of irregular vaginal bleeding, which is often caused by functional uterine bleeding or endometrial lesions. Diagnostic scraping can often reduce the bleeding, but it can’t stop the bleeding completely immediately.
If the patient suffers from malignant endometrial lesions or coagulation disorders, the bleeding will often be prolonged.
Vaginal bleeding is common in clinical practice and should be treated according to the specific cause.
