Coronary heart disease stenting success rate

Coronary stenting in patients with coronary artery disease is a very routine operation. The success rate of coronary stenting is very high, over 95%. Procedures to treat individual coronary lesions by intervention are becoming more and more sophisticated and have higher success rates. Many lesions that were previously considered contraindicated, such as left main trunk opening lesions and anterior trigeminal lesions, are now becoming more and more technically sophisticated and have increasingly higher success rates. For special types of lesions, such as lesions with severe calcification, lesions with strong vascular tortuosity, or even a completely occluded lesion, the success rate is around 90%, which is related to the level of operation technology of each unit and the skill level of the surgeon himself.
