Nosebleed, stop bleeding methods include local compression, nasal tamponade; nasal endoscopy electrocoagulation hemostasis; intervention or vascular ligation and other treatments. 1. Local compression and nasal tamponade: For small amount of nosebleed, patients can be instructed to take a seated position, tilt their head slightly forward, pinch both sides of the nose with hands to stop bleeding. If the bleeding is large and the hemostasis fails by pinching the nose, hemostatic material, petroleum jelly gauze or expanding sponge can be used to fill the nostrils to achieve the purpose of hemostasis. 2. Nasal endoscopic electrocoagulation: the bleeding point is identified through nasal endoscopy, and bipolar electrocoagulation can be used under the endoscopy to stop bleeding. 3. Intervention or vascular ligation: If the above treatments fail, intervention, vascular embolization or vascular ligation can be considered to stop bleeding. When nosebleed occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to identify the cause of nosebleed and treat the cause of the nosebleed. At the same time, it is recommended to rule out the presence of hematologic and other systemic diseases.
